After 16 years serving DanceSport as the IDSF Sports Director, Heinz Spaeker has decided to retire as IDSF Sport Director. Heinz announced in his retirement speech (photo) that he still will be a member of the IDSF DanceSport family.

Carlos Freitag, IDSF President, proposed to the meeting to nominate Heinz as Honorary Member IDSF and this proposal was accepted by an enormous warm standing ovation by all IDSF members present on the IDSF Annual General Meeting 2010.
